This all kicked off when we started looking for something interesting to do in our spare time and began to realise that there was something missing...something like this. We thought it may not be for all but we surveyed people and asked a lot of friends (who had a great deal of patience) and so Fortune & Friends was born!

The aim is pretty simple and not ground breaking stuff but we do believe it offers guys the opportunity to express themselves in ways that typical life does not always allow.

Sounds a bit new age but we have values too! Refreshing, Commitment, Making a Difference and Fun. This is how we are measuring everything that we do here at Fortune & Friends. Because of that, we'll only ever work with gay-friendly providers who share our values and our commitment to delivering the best experiences and value for money possible.

Who's the We in Fortune & Friends?

I'm a 36 year old guy who has lived in London most of my life. I have a passion for new experiences and try everything at least once.  That's why I love this concept. In creating Fortune & Friends we're going to get really creative, creating unique experiences whilst doing the kind of stuff that we've always thought about doing but never quite got round to.

I have a pretty good idea of what makes the difference between an okay event versus a great one. Friendly trainers who know what they're doing, getting people involved, good venues and making sure it's fun; just a few ideas but we think they're important.

I love the idea of giving us guys extra choice to do things that interest us. Living in London for six years I understand the challenges of making friends in this big city. The idea of learning something while potentially meeting people on events and courses really inspired me to throw myself into setting up Fortune & Friends with Michael.

Quality is a big focus for me and between us we spend a lot of time making sure we work with providers who share our values and are gay-friendly.
